The name Alina means noble beauty or light, and despite being a delicate, simple, and feminine piece characteristic of me, it's a somewhat unconventional necklace among the products. Almost all jewelry can be inscribed, which gives them their uniqueness, meaning you are the one who designs your custom jewelry. There are a few pieces that I made with passion, mainly based on symbolism, but the main line is to hide unique stories in jewelry.
The idea for this necklace came to me a long time ago, but life happened and slightly altered my plans. But now it's here, finished, and with a jewelry-making method that I was among the first to try a few years ago. There was a time when I made wire jewelry, with which one can create truly beautiful and unique pieces. Now, with the Alina necklace, I have stuck to my characteristic simple and delicate design. Faceted mineral beads sparkle in a row on the tiny circular pendant; its size makes it a very comfortable, light accessory.

Its uniqueness lies in the fact that you can choose a mineral for it based on your birth month, each with its own meaning. Each bead is slightly different, so no two necklaces will be exactly alike. All its elements are silver, so it can be an adornment to your appearance for a very long time, because as understated as it is, it is just as eye-catching.

When making wire jewelry, it often involves a series of monotonous movements over a long period, which for me is quite meditative. Just as I love the moments of stamping the inscriptions and patterns of the custom pendants you design, when my focus is on that particular piece of jewelry, the feeling of being present is the same when creating this necklace. As the wire is placed on the hammered base, and then the mineral beads in a row, it's a time full of calm for me, while I focus on my work, on the process. When you only focus on your work to do a good job, you are not working in the past or the future, but here and now. There are professions where you can explicitly experience being present, and some where less so; I feel lucky that I can do something where I can regularly experience this.
I wanted to bring the technique of wire wrapping back into my work because I like monotonous tasks; they calm and balance me. When I inscribe, the pursuit of precision brings focus to the present. When I make this necklace for you, it's the monotonous work that brings me into the calm present. So my work also helps me find what to look for in everyday life if I want to experience the beauty of the here and now.
I hope you will love this piece of jewelry too. Choose your own mineral for it, and I am sure that when it arrives, Alina will steal your heart!
